Marvin P. Velastegui is a trial attorney at The Javid Trial Firm. He was accepted into the American Board Of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) in 2020. He has been first chair over a dozen civil jury trials that have resulted in favorable verdicts. Marvin received his law degree from Boston University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California Santa Barbara.
Prior to joining The Javid Trial Firm, Marvin worked as in-house counsel for a national insurance carrier for over 10 years with 8 of those years working as the managing attorney for the southern California offices. He has handled thousands of files as well as has been in countless strategic meetings with high level insurance decision makers regarding evaluating and litigating files. Marvin’s prior experience helped sharpened his skills as an effective communicator and strong litigator.
After years of seeing the defense side low ball, intimidate and use other tactics to save costs, Marvin made the intentional decision to return to his roots and help those who have been wrong, injured and need someone to fight for them. Marvin is passionate about pursuing justice for his clients and working toward making a positive impact on people’s lives.
